Do I need to create an account?

No. No account needed. Pay with Stripe, upload your file, get your results. That's it.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every service is one-time. Pay per scan. No recurring charges. No auto-renewal. No hidden fees.

What happens to my file after the scan?

Permanently deleted. Immediately after processing is complete and your report is delivered, the file is erased from our systems. We keep nothing.

Can I get a refund?

No. All sales are final. Because we process and delete your file immediately, the service is fully rendered at the time of delivery. We cannot reverse a completed scan.

How does Cloud Boot work?

Your system boots from our secure cloud infrastructure instead of its own hard drive. This means any malware — including rootkits — is not running and cannot hide. We scan the disk from outside, remove threats, restore system files, and verify everything is clean before rebooting.

What file types can I upload?

ShieldClean Scan accepts any file type up to 50MB — executables, documents, archives, scripts, and more.

What about AI-generated content detection?

AI content detection (deepfake images, synthetic audio, AI-written text) is now available through Guardian — our dedicated detection product. Visit guardian.phy357.com for details.

Is Cloud Boot safe for my system?

Yes. Cloud Boot loads a clean operating system from our servers into your system's memory. Your disk is scanned as raw storage — nothing is executed from your local drive. Threats are removed and system files are restored to known-good versions before your system reboots.

Legal

By using any ShieldClean service, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services provided. ShieldClean provides one-time security scanning and system remediation services. Results are delivered as digital reports.

2. No refunds. All sales are final. Services are fully rendered upon delivery of results. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued for any reason.

3. Accuracy. ShieldClean provides analysis based on our proprietary detection engine. Results are for informational purposes. While we strive for maximum accuracy, no detection system is 100% infallible. Results should be used as one input in your security decision-making process.

4. File handling. All files uploaded for scanning or detection are permanently deleted from our systems immediately after processing is complete and your report is delivered. We do not retain, copy, archive, or backup your files.

5. Cloud Boot. ShieldClean Cloud Boot involves remotely booting your system from our infrastructure to perform scanning and remediation. By requesting this service, you authorize us to boot, scan, and remediate your system. You acknowledge that remediation involves removing detected threats and restoring system files, which in rare cases may affect system configuration.

6. Liability limitation. ShieldClean is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to data loss, system downtime, or decisions made based on scan results. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

7. Acceptable use. You may not use ShieldClean services for any illegal purpose. You may not upload files you do not have the legal right to scan. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or attack our systems.

8. Modifications. We reserve the right to modify these terms, pricing, and service offerings at any time. Changes take effect for new transactions only.

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. This policy explains how we handle your data:

1. Files uploaded. All files uploaded for ShieldClean Scan are processed in memory and permanently deleted immediately after your report is generated. We do not store, copy, archive, or transmit your files to any third party.

2. Cloud Boot data. During ShieldClean Cloud Boot, your system's disk is scanned remotely. Scan data is processed in real-time and not stored on our servers. Only the threat report is retained and delivered to you.

3. Payment information. All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

4. Personal information. We collect only the minimum information needed to deliver the service: your email address (to deliver the report) and payment confirmation from Stripe. We do not sell, share, or use your email for marketing unless you opt in.

5. Cookies and tracking. Our website uses only essential cookies required for the payment process. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers.

6. Data retention. Scan reports are available for download for 7 days after delivery, then permanently deleted. After 7 days, we retain no data related to your scan.

7. Compliance. ShieldClean is designed to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable U.S. privacy regulations. If you have questions about your data, contact [email protected].

8. Children. ShieldClean services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
